We do not sell personal data. We do not use solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on players. Automated anti-abuse rules may temporarily restrict suspicious requests; you may contact us if you believe a restriction was incorrect.

4. Where the information comes from

Most information comes directly from you when you register, play, communicate or request support. Technical and gameplay information is generated automatically when your browser or device interacts with the Service. We may also receive limited information from hosting, security or embedded-service providers.

5. Processors, recipients and embedded services

Personal data may be made available only where needed to:

  • hosting, database, security, backup and technical-service providers acting for us;
  • professional advisers or public authorities where disclosure is legally required;
  • service providers you choose to interact with through an embedded feature.

Third-party website features

The homepage may connect your browser to Facebook’s Page Plugin for the DeathLand page, Google-hosted fonts, XCountMe visitor counters, WapGames and WTop counters. These providers can receive technical information such as your IP address, browser headers and the page requesting their content, and may use cookies or similar technologies according to their own policies. Facebook content is governed by Meta’s privacy information. These providers act under their own terms for data they independently collect.

You can restrict third-party cookies or embedded content through browser privacy settings. Blocking it may hide counters, fonts or the Facebook box without preventing core gameplay.

6. International data transfers

Some hosting, social-media or embedded-service providers may process information outside Lithuania or the European Economic Area. Where we select a processor that transfers personal data internationally, transfers must rely on a lawful safeguard such as an adequacy decision, approved standard contractual clauses or another mechanism recognised by data-protection law. Third-party providers independently determine safeguards for processing performed under their own policies.

7. How long information is kept

  • Account and game-progress data is generally kept while the account remains active.
  • After deletion or closure, data is deleted or anonymised within a reasonable operational period unless it must be retained for legal obligations, dispute resolution, security or prevention of repeated abuse.
  • Security and server logs are retained only for a period proportionate to troubleshooting, fraud prevention and system protection, then deleted, aggregated or anonymised.
  • Support correspondence is kept until the request is resolved and afterwards only as long as needed for follow-up or legal claims.
  • Guest and session data may expire automatically and is not guaranteed to remain available.

Retention is determined by the sensitivity of the data, operational need, legal limitation periods, security risk and applicable legal requirements.

8. Cookies, sessions and local storage

DeathLand uses essential session technologies to keep users logged in, protect forms with security tokens, limit abuse and connect actions with the correct account. Disabling essential cookies may prevent login, registration or gameplay.

The homepage stores the time when you close the Facebook popup in browser local storage so it stays hidden for seven days. Embedded social-media and counter providers may place or read their own cookies or identifiers. You can clear these through browser settings. Where applicable law requires consent for a non-essential technology controlled by us, we will request it before use.

9. Your data-protection rights

Subject to the GDPR and any applicable limitations, you may request:

  • information and access to your personal data;
  • correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • deletion of data where the legal conditions are met;
  • restriction of processing;
  • data portability for eligible data processed automatically on consent or contract;
  • objection to processing based on legitimate interests;
  • withdrawal of consent at any time, without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Send requests to dievast@gmail.com. We may request reasonable information to verify account ownership. We will respond without undue delay and normally within one month, as required by applicable law.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate (VDAI) or another competent supervisory authority. Information is available at vdai.lrv.lt.

10. Children

DeathLand is not directed to young children. A person who cannot lawfully consent to data processing or accept the Terms in their country should use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. A guardian may contact us about a child’s information or request its deletion.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the Service, including password hashing, session protection, server-side validation, access controls, rate limits and security logging. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. If you suspect unauthorised account access, contact us and change any reused password immediately.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy when features, providers or legal requirements change. Material changes will be posted here with a revised effective date and, where appropriate, an additional notice.
